Bulibasha is a Bali-based brand that creates unique footwear, designed for style, comfort and sustainability. As a brand, it is passionate about making people happy and have cultural preservation, environmental sustainability and community-based employment as their core values.
Bringing sustainable employment to the rich Indonesian culture of craft and creativity, their unique weaving techniques are taught to people of all ages within local communities. Their individual artisans have moved from single families to entire neighbourhoods, allowing the team to work from home in their own time whilst caring for children and tending to households.
The shoes are designed using materials sourced locally. All-natural palm and coconut leaf fibers are handwoven and each pair takes up to four days to create, giving your shoes an individual stamp of creativity and artistic passion.
